Kids first day of school...fall 2010! All cleaned up and sun kissed with new clothes on and back packs full of school supplies. One high schooler and one middle schooler and one elementry schooler. One busy schedule for mom and dad. My kids back in school margreta was well needed! They are getting so big so fast!

School shopping and making space for the new.

Look at my son! Big nut ball!

These are some random pictures of our summer gone! Now it's time to enjoy the next great season of fall! I love how God blesses us with these seasons. I am ready for beatiful fall colors and cozy sweaters at night and all the pumpkins on front porches and pumpkin patches. The smell of smokey camp fire burning leaves in the air. Sipping hot cidar and a piece of pumpkin pie. Football friday nights at the High School. The cooler weather but not cold enough to wear a lot of clothes yet. Dressing the kids and dogs in costumes. Bobbing for apples. Picking the perfect pumpkin and making a great face on it and eatting the seeds. Mums everywhere around.
Just sounds so good and I'm so ready for the fall. Hope your enjoying fall!

Guess who else had a birthday? Our Brad is 12!

He's a tween now! How does this happen! I blink my eyes and my boys are little men!
Brad is our Hawaiian baby so we gave him some hula dancers on his cake! ha! ha!
He thinks it's cool when people ask him where he was born...he gets to tell them Hawaii!
His b-day was this past Sept. He now has a new scooter and a pocket full of money and had a great time at the fall festival. He even scored a new pair of tenny shoes from mom!

I'm a big sap here!

14!

Caleb is "14"! Wo000000W!!! My first born! I love this kid! How did I get so lucky! I'm so proud of him too! I know Caleb's birthday was in July four months later but I couldn't forget about my squirt! A new bike and a great hair cut later I just had to post this for all to know he's FOURTEEN!!!!!! I know right!

Here's a bitrhtday, okay REALLY late birthday wish I wanted to put out there to my mom!
I really miss you mom! My mom is something special to me. She is my first and always will be my best friend. Even through our stages in life she still is there for me. I love that about her.
She and I have had many laughs and many crys together. Sometimes we just don't say anything at all and all we have to do is hear a trimble or change in sound in our voice and we just know something. A certain smile we do too, we can read each others mind. She has a soul connection she knows when to call me out of the blue and that's when I say "I'm so glad you called I needed to hear from you"! I have so many cherished memories with my mom and I hold them so dear to my heart...words can't express the strong bond I have with my mom. I'm realizing as I get older how much more moments I would love to share with her as we grow. I'm so excited about her getting to share my life in Virginia. She will get to see and be with her first grandson as a high schooler. They will get a to connect in his older age too. This is the time when I think grandparents should bond the most with the kids just cause it's great conversation for both of them. They can learn so much from one another. I want tight bonds! I'm so looking forward to going to home games in the chilly fall nights with my folks. I can't wait to watch "Glee" with my mom. (Dinner and show night...add to bucket list!ha! ha!) I can't wait to sip tea and learning how to knit with mom. I can't wait to get lost with her in Virgina and she always calms my anxiety attacks. It's always funner to get lost with mom than by myself. I can't wait to quilt with her. I'm looking forward to berry and apple picking with her again. I have such fond memories of that from our Frezno days. Most of all I just can't wait to hug her again any time I would like a hug from mom and best friend. I miss her so much and sometimes just a hug from mom alone just helps you get through the day. Happy birthday mom! I send you many many happy wishes to come. I love you so much! I'll be seeing you soon!
