It's begining to look like Christmas around here. We have this busy month packed full of things to make and bake and decorate. Here's just a little peek of what we have been up to these past few days and weeks. The count down starts.

This is our reads on our bed side tables and through out the house. Last years Christmas present
was our library of our own. We are almost in there all the time. Well when we are not working, sleeping, cooking, bathing and so on...but most of the time you can find us in there. Like I said we are a book worm family.

Our fall is just about over. This photo of our back yard was the starting of fall and the picture of our front entry window is the tale end of our fall. Our Pear tree was the last of the pretty colors. Now it's time to put Christmas lights on our Pear tree.

This is what I saw when I got back from Christmas shopping...she was waiting for me!
Angie likes to write in her journals too. This is pretty funny! I found this on her writing desk in her room the other day. I had to share with you all. Can you read it?
Look what I saw in my kitchen window...isn't that sweet!

This years Christmas pictures attemps!

Yes, it's that time of the year...Christmas family pictures! Here's just a few we had to get through to get just the perfect one for this years Christmas cards. Ahhhh...memories we just love! Help me! Kids just one good one for me please!
Just trying to read up on this blog thing. Hopefully I will really get good at this. With the holidays just about here I'm excited to do this. This is when I want to be with family the most. With my side being across the United States this allows me to show them what I've been up too.
I wish snow would fall soon...I'm so ready to wear the snow gear and make a snowman family and an excuse to drink more hot chocolate and put on my favorite reindeer snow hat that my husband laughs at every time I put it on. It is a long time ski hat of mine. I feel pretty cool in it too! LOL!
This is the time I feel very excited and just want to enjoy the comforts of the home. I like to put clean quilts on our beds, and stock up on the hot cider and comfort food in our pantry and winter clothes ready to wear. The camp fire smells fill the air and it just feels so right. The bird feeder is full and the flower beds are blanketed with extra covering. Great reads are on bed side tables and socks and slippers are on our feet, and football and hockey games are on the television. I have a feeling this will be another cozy winter.
It was really that time for this...they were stinking up our house. Phewy! Isn't this the funniest thing! I was cracking up the whole time! I almost feel like their eyes were telling it all.."really mom your taking a picture!" Poor babies! Now they are fluffly clean and smell like "medicated coconuts". Yes, if your asking they love the blow dryer. They still roll all over the carpet when they are done. Crazy pups!
My oldest son thought of this! Pretty cool huh! He's playing tricks with the camera. He thinks he has his little brother and sis in the palm of his hand.

Oh Wait! There's more and more and MORE!!! I thought these are neat of Caleb! Like I said before, we are having a great fall this year.

I can't help myself these are my favorites too. I probably have more to share don't you worry about that! This is our Angie haming it up for the camera. She truely is a lot of giggles! You just can't help and giggle with her.

I don't know about you but we are having a great fall! It's sad to say it's almost over. Our pear tree has finally made it's beautiful colors and all the other trees are now naked sticks and stumps. This is just one out of tons of my favorite photos of the kids and our fall this year.
About two weeks ago this was the last flowers of my summer garden. We had a wonderful season of flowers and even vegetables. It was nice to place fresh cut flowers through out our house this past season. I have to say I spent $14.99 on a book called, "You Grow Girl" and followed her blog and took notes and then the rewards started to grow everywhere in our yard. It lasted tell these last two weeks. I thought these flowers looked just right on Angie's bed side table, and she would enjoy them as much as I do. These are such wonderful gifts from earth.

Brad found my Food Network Magazine!

Brad saw the carmel apples in my fall issue of Food Network magazine and the next thing I knew he was making these . They turned out great! He even made homemade carmel sauce like it taught in the magazine. He was pretty proud of himself too. He did realize that day carmel apples are a REALLY sweet treat.

Our Brad has put the Man back in his name again!

You all were asking how our Brad is doing after catching the swine flu...he is Brad again! We were a little scared when the fevers were spiking high temps, but rest asure good care from the doctors out here and lots of TLC or as Brad calls it "vacation" (he cracks me up) and heaping bowls of chicken noodle soup and catching up on now favorite chapter book series (Molly Moon Incredible book of Hypnotism) watching Rachel Ray with mom in the mornings and just allowed to be Brad. He is back and healthy again! We really got to bond while he was healing! He tells me he's ready to have another vacation with me again. He's now back in school trying catch up with all ten days of missed school and is a buzzing bee at school, he hated this part of being sick. But with a little hard work on his part he'll be up to speed at school. I knew he was Brad-man again when he asked me while making beds "Do you think computers run off some magnets...maybe we should look inside and see" Curious as always! Oh! This is Brad's Jack Nicklesons impression...He can really get the eyebrows going and it's the SHINING! It's almost funny and creepy at the same time! We all start to crack up when he does it.

It's this again! It NEVER goes away!

It's the weekend again! I know this when I see this in my life again!
I'm very confident that I will get my chores done and some Christmas crafting time in with the kids and get the pie crust dough ready for thanksgiving dinner and also have a great dinner on the table for the family come night time. I have high hopes for Sunday. Maybe if I focus or just get up at 4a.m. No, I don't think so! I'll just stay positive.
this is a test
