Yep..Snowed in again! So this is what we've been up to on these snowy days!
You can see how deep it is here! Poor John! There is a lot of this too.

We have this ugly phone box in the middle of our yard and we hate that it is in the middle of our yard and it stands pretty tall but here you can hardly see it...that's how deep it is.

Angie is gonna check the mail for us! ha! ha! You can hardly see it too.

Yes...it's pretty deep and this is just on our front pourch steps!

More snow digging! YUCK!

Trying to stay warm around here!
Also catching up on a little reading.

It's still here!

Little friends came to visit us!

We have big friends too!

It was time to walk the dogs! Yahooo!!! They darted out the door...well Holly not so much Rookie!

This is neat to me...you can see the birds nest when there's no leaves on the trees!

See our geese! They came to ice skate! Poop too! YUCK!

Rookie and his winter sweater! He looks so funny!

Playing a little wii has been popular too!
Sleeping in has been the best part!

Here's our ground hog cookies! Happy Ground hog days! He says six more weeks of winter, I believe him!

Making cookies can get messy and you can get flour in your eyes...like Angie did here! ha! ha! Just a little too much flour.

Sneaking in some cookie kisses!

I'm a dork! Even making cookies!

Hot chocolate and soup is the best on snow days!

Getting the school projects done...even though they hate me for it!

I'm a stitching machine! I made a few for Angie's birthday coming up! This has been a treat to get this much done! I just keep going and going! I've been putting a good DVD on the TV and away I stitch!

Yes...we've been puzzling!!! What better time to do one right!

This has been some winter! We have more to come later this week...soooo...with a full frig and pantry I plan on baking and getting some gifts made for Angie's b-day and scrap booking her birthday party invites and working on the puzzle some more and yes of course the stupid laundry and reading to the kids cleaning up after the kids...ha! ha! Lets be real right! Playing wii games with the kids. Whatever else we do it will probably be stuck inside and playing in the snow. Until then ta-ta!

Caleb's new room

This is Caleb's new room! We were busy over the snowy days.

Look at Caleb's sport wall! John did this! He did a great job! Caleb has his own wall of fame, he! he! The jerseys are from when he first started soccer at age 3. My baby boy!
See the tiny soccer shoes on one of the shadow boxes....itty bitty! We probably will have to get a bigger wall if Caleb is still our over achiever. Maybe a trophy case like you see in the High School halls...ha! ha! I'll have to do some serious antique shopping then! ha! ha! It's all fun!

This is it...we are finally done with Caleb's teen room! After a few months Caleb and I were looking at paint swatches and skimming through the PBteen magazines and Caleb telling me what he wants in his room...this is the results. I love the color Caleb picked out! The perfect green. No more log cabin on the walls..it was time. Caleb has style doesn't he! I think I will always be his personal designer as long as he lets me...then I will have to finally get that dream job of mine with Pottery Barn kids/teens. (ha! ha!) That's if my kids don't want me to decorate any more. That's too sad for me!!! If any body that knows me this is a passion of mine is to decorate kids spaces. I can't wait to get to Brad's room and then it's Angie's teen room! Whaooo!

Out with the old!!! Caleb is growing up!

This was Caleb's young boy room. Now that he is a teen he was ready for a new updated teen room. So mom and dad and Caleb got busy over these crazy snowy days.
Caleb always liked the Pottery Barn Teen style and so of course we used that as a reference to our creativity. It was finally time to get this project done since this was part of his Christmas. The bunk bed went away and on to a mans bed! New fresh paint and a whole lot of Caleb will be in his new room.
